Calling all cocktail connoisseurs! A city-wide celebration of bars, bartenders, and their delicious drinks is returning to Vancouver this winter.
The fourth annual Vancouver Cocktail Week (VCW) runs from March 2 to 9. That means you’ll only have seven days to discover some of the city’s top establishments and their unique cocktail creations.
“This highlight of the March calendar is filled with seminars, master classes, tasting events, cocktail-paired dinners, neighbourhood crawls, guest shifts and spectacular parties, all supported by dozens of brand sponsors pouring their best products for you,” said VCW in a release.
“Expect to see all your favourite local bartenders in action, as well as top talent from across Canada and around the world.”
Signature events returning for VCW 2024 include the traditional welcome brunch at ARC Restaurant in the Fairmont Waterfront on March 2 and the Black & White closing gala at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia on March 8.
The glamourous gala will be held in the Spanish Ballroom and feature live entertainment, mouthwatering eats, and over 24 cocktail stations. Guests will also have the chance to meet global brand ambassadors serving creative cocktails.
Foodies will also want to check out the Cinq à Sept series of elevated “happy hours.” The unticketed events aim to celebrate food, drink, art and community at partnering venues around Vancouver.
Vancouver Cocktail Week also announced that a portion of proceeds will be donated to its new charity partner, Mind The Bar. The locally-founded organization supports mental health wellness for Canadian hospitality workers who need help.
