How to follow U.S. election day coverage on CBC

Americans are going to the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 5. CBC News is your destination for complete coverage of this pivotal election, with full results as they’re available live online, on radio and on television, along with expert analysis throughout the day. CBC journalists are in several key locations in the U.S. to help make sense of what could be a fast-changing story Tuesday night. 

Here’s how to follow:

Starting with America Votes: Morning Live at 6 a.m. ET with Heather Hiscox on CBC News Network and CBC Gem, CBC News will have up-to-the-minute coverage all day, leading into a special edition of America Votes: Power & Politics with David Cochrane, live from Washington, D.C., at 5 p.m. ET online and on CBC News Network and CBC Gem.

On America Votes at 8 p.m. ET, chief correspondent Adrienne Arsenault will be joined on set by The National senior host Ian Hanomansing, senior Washington correspondent Paul Hunter, and chief political correspondent Rosemary Barton, to bring you analysis and the latest updates from our journalists on the ground. CBC News teams will be in battleground states key to deciding the election, and at the headquarters of both presidential candidates.
