Storm creating havoc for commuters on Lower Mainland roads, bridges

The ‘potent’ storm that Environment and Climate Change Canada warned about is creating havoc for commuters on Monday morning.

A multi-car crash on the Alex Fraser Bridge is affecting northbound traffic. The two left lanes are blocked and traffic is slow from 64 Avenue.

On Highway 1 eastbound in Coquitlam, a crash has the centre lane blocked just past the Brunette Exit. Meanwhile, on the Port Mann Bridge, a spun-out vehicle at the east end has the HOV lane blocked.

Another spun-out vehicle along Highway 17 westbound in Surrey has traffic backing up from underneath the Port Mann Bridge.
