Vancouver Fire Rescue Services (VFRS) says its crews were called to an incident involving a construction crane Monday morning in East Vancouver’s Strathcona neighbourhood.
The incident happened just after 10:30 a.m. at a construction site near Hastings Street and Glen Drive.
Details are fairly thin, but VFRS tells 1130 NewsRadio it appears the incident impacted the road.
VFRS confirmed that no one was injured.
WorkSafeBC also confirmed to 1130 NewsRadio that it was called to a crane incident in that location. WorksafeBC says it has officers attending the scene Monday afternoon.
