This small town near Vancouver is the epitome of holiday charm, which makes sense given it’s been perfectly crafted as a picturesque movie-set.
Martini Town is actually a fake town, used as the backdrop for movies and shows set in the wintry streets of New York City, and even quaint small towns seen in Hallmark flicks. The town opens up to the public once a year during the holidays, so you can step into the magical world crafted for the productions.
The charming streets of the outdoor movie studio are actually tucked away in Langley, about 45 minutes from Vancouver, making this the ideal day-trip adventure.
You’ll be transported to the dreamy streets of New York here, with the Brownstone streets and an urban alley.
If you want more of a storybook vibe, stroll over to the town square here that could’ve been plucked out of Gilmore Girls, or the diner that has the perfect old-school charm.
The city roads and small-town streets here come alive during the holidays, decked out with twinkling lights and Christmas decor to give this place an even more of a magical feel to it.
Starting on December 4 and running through until January 5, Marinti Town will host it’s “Merry & Bright” event, so you can step into the dreaminess of the holiday movies filmed there.
They know how to bring the magical vibes to life here, so you can rest assured that you’ll feel transported into the world of Hallmark.
Although the town isn’t actually real so it doesn’t have functioning businesses, for the Merry & Bright at Mariini Town event they’ll have food and drinks, seasonal entertainment, and even local artisans and vendors setting up shop.
Marini Town is only open to the public once a year, so you have to jump at the chance if you want to visit a real studio backlot.
Tickets to go to Merry & Bright at Martini Town are $22 for adults, but you can get the early bird special if you buy them before October 31.
You can buy tickets on the Martinti Town website.
