All occupants of a house — including two youths and two dogs — are safe after a fire broke out at a home in Langley Friday afternoon.
The Township of Langley Fire Department was called to the house on 88th Avenue and 216th Street just after 1 p.m., where they saw flames and smoke billowing from the house.
“Our crews were able to do a quick knock down on the fire from the exterior and go inside and pull the ceiling and extinguish the fire in the attic,” Assistant Fire Chief Kevin Snowden said.
“Was a really good save.”
He says the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
