Kamloops police say a man is in custody Friday, charged with the murder of his mother last year.
Jo-Anne Donovan was discovered near her Westsyde residence in March 2023, after she had been reported missing to police the previous week.
Police say Donovan’s son, 35-year-old Brandon Jeremiah Donovan of Kamloops, was arrested Friday morning “without incident.” The BC Prosecution Service has approved a charge of one count of second-degree murder against him.
The Kamloops RCMP says the matter is now before the courts and no further information will be released by police.
