Port Mann Bridge EB reduced to 1 lane for tipped truck

A dump truck has tipped over and is blocking all but one eastbound lane on the Port Mann Bridge in Coquitlam.

As of 2:20 p.m., callers to 1130 NewsRadio say one eastbound lane has opened after crews cleared some debris from the truck.

The BC Highway Patrol tells 1130 NewsRadio that there were no serious injuries in the incident.

Drivers are advised to use the exit lanes or avoid the Port Mann Bridge for now.

You can use the Pattullo to enter Surrey, by getting off Highway one east at Brunette Avenue.

You can also use the Mary Hill Bypass to get to the Pitt River Bridge, and follow that to the Golden Ears Bridge.
