The sweet aroma of mini donuts radiated from my email inbox as I received word of this year’s food options at the PNE Fair. I scrambled to find some vegetarian options, top of the mainstays, and was pleasantly surprised.
Food Options at the PNE Fair
If you’re headed to the fair (on now until September 2nd) for Dueling Pianos, agriculture displays, For the Love of Drag, cooking demonstrations, musical performances, exhibits, and Summer Night Concerts, here are some of your new food options:
Summerland Soft Serve – Sour Candy Soft Serve
Try their dairy-free Dole whip
Happy Fish – Giant Squid on a Stick
KYU GRILL – Japanese Hawaiian Fusion
Try their braised tofu teriyaki skewers
Tochi – Hong Kong French toast with ice cream
Tacosaurus Vancouver – Authentic flavours from Mexico
The Little Donut Bakery
Try their new Ube Coconut Little Donuts
The Mini Donut Factory – Takis Mini Donuts
Plus: Big Red’s Poutine, Wiggle Chips, Dos Amigos Food Truck, Happy Fish, Shawarma Time, and more!
Side note: The other day my friend found the PNE on Uber Eats. Did you know you can order a bucket of mini donuts, popcorn, caramel apples, and cotton candy to your house? But is it as fun without rides flying overhead?
