Head Coach and Co-GM Rick Campbell discusses the signing of Canadian Quarterback Nathan Rourke. Rourke will arrive for the club’s Wednesday practice. The Victoria-born QB took the CFL by storm upon being named the Lions’ starter for 2022.In ten regular season games, Rourke had 25 touchdown passes and 3,349 passing yards, becoming just the third quarterback in CFL history to win the league’s Most Outstanding Canadian award, joining Dattilio and Russ Jackson. In 2023, Rourke signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars and had NFL stints with the New England Patriots, the New York Giants and the Atlanta Falcons over the past two seasons.
