A man is recovering in hospital after being attacked in Surrey Sunday night.
The Surrey RCMP says it happened around 10 p.m., just off Old Yale Road near King George Boulevard, close to Holland Park in the city’s Whalley neighbourhood.
Details about the assault are scarce, however, Mounties shared that “a male had been injured with a weapon.”
“The victim was transported to hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries,” Const. Parmbir Kahlon said.
Police say their investigation is in the early stages.
