The Canadian team of Kacie Bosch, Paige Crozon, and twin sisters Michelle and Katherine Plouffe face the reigning Olympic champion U.S. for bronze at 3 p.m. ET.
The gold-medal matchup will feature Spain and Germany, who beat Canada 16-15 earlier on Monday.
Paige Crozon, Kacie Bosch and Katherine Plouffe each had four points for Canada, while Michelle Plouffe contributed three.
The Canadians were up 9-5 at the midway point before running into foul trouble that allowed Germany to get back into the game and take the lead with about three-and-a-half minutes to go.
The 2024 Games mark Canada’s first Olympic appearance in 3×3 basketball, coming after the discipline made its debut in Tokyo.
