A disclaimer for drivers: Some repair work is causing a lane closure in the George Massey Tunnel.
The province says the southbound slow lane will close starting at10 p.m. on Wednesday. It is expected to reopen at 5 a.m. on Thursday.
The closure is necessary to allow BC Hydro crews to continue repairs to equipment in the tunnel.
Drivers can expect some delays throughout the work.
The province is asking drivers to “use caution” when driving through the work zone.
Highway 17 and the Alex Fraser Bridge can be taken as alternate routes.
