A Coquitlam eye care clinic will have to make some repairs after a car came crashing through its front door Friday afternoon.
The Coquitlam RCMP says it received calls to assist BC Emergency Health Services in the area of Pacific Street and Atlantic Avenue around 1:40 p.m.
No injuries were reported and police say the driver remained at the scene.
Images show a vehicle stopped in some bushes and surrounded by police tape. The vehicle’s hood up and the front end is damaged.
The front of the Total Eye Care Centre is also seen with a damaged storefront and debris around the inside of the business.
It’s unclear what caused the crash but investigators say “speed and alcohol do not appear to be contributing factors.”
