One person has been taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a “cycling incident” in Surrey Thursday evening.
BC Emergency Health Services tells CityNews crews were called to 179 Street just before 5:45 p.m.
“Two ground ambulances were dispatched to the location. Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment and transported one patient to hospital in serious condition,” BC EHS said.
Few details are available at this time, including the person’s age. However, some people have reported seeing a child being tended to by paramedics.
